Sharp BP-71C31, BP-71C36, and BP-71C45 Color Copiers

Available from Novatech · Lease or Buy

Three speeds of the same smart, modern copier.

Not every office prints the same amount. A small team does not need the same machine as a busy department. That is why the Sharp Advanced Series comes in three speeds: 31, 36, and 45 pages a minute.

The good news? They are the same machine underneath. Same screen. Same scanner. Same cloud connections. Same security. You pick the speed that matches your volume, and you get the rest of it standard.

We sell and lease all three to offices across our markets. If you want a copier that handles real workloads, plays nicely with Microsoft 365, and does not turn into a paperweight in three years, this family is worth a look.

What slow copiers actually cost you

Most offices live with a bad copier longer than they should. It is easier to push through one more bad day than to pick a new machine.

A Sharp multifunction printer/copier is shown with a document loaded in its automatic document

Here is what that delay actually costs:

Hours your team will not get back. Five minutes here, ten minutes there, every day. That is a full work week lost over the year.

Scans that go nowhere useful. Your team uses Teams, Google Drive, and Dropbox. If the copier cannot scan straight into them, paper piles up and shared work stalls.

A security risk hiding in plain sight. Every copier touches sensitive files: contracts, HR forms, financial paperwork. An old one without modern security is a soft spot in your network.

Surprise bills. Toner runs out at the worst time. Service calls cost more than expected. Nobody knows what the copier really costs to run each month.

If any of that sounds familiar, you are not alone. It is the most common reason people call us.

Why we recommend the BP-71C series

We sell and service many brands. We pick this family for a reason.

Smart scanning that fixes your mistakes

The 300-sheet feeder grabs a stack and reads both sides in one pass at up to 300 images per minute. AI-assisted scanning straightens crooked pages, picks the right file format, and tunes the image so what comes out actually looks good. Less rework, less squinting at bad scans.

A screen that makes sense the first time

The 10.1-inch touchscreen tilts up to your eye line and works like a tablet. The Easy Modes hide the complicated stuff for everyday tasks. A real keyboard pulls out from the front so your team can type long email addresses without hunting on a touchscreen.

Built for the Microsoft world

If your office runs on Microsoft 365, this family is going to feel right at home. It supports Universal Print, Entra ID sign-in, the Sharp Print Support App, and direct scanning to Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint. Your IT person does not have to wrestle with print servers anymore.

Strong security, not as an afterthought

The machine checks its own software at startup and can heal itself if something gets tampered with. Firmware updates happen automatically. Data on the drive is encrypted. Real-time intrusion detection blocks weird connection attempts. There is also an optional Bitdefender antivirus kit if you want belt-and-suspenders protection.

Designed to last and not waste energy

About half the plastic in these machines is recycled. They earn ENERGY STAR 3.2 and have one of the lowest power draws in their class. Soft-close drawers and easy-roll casters sound like small things, but they tell you Sharp paid attention.

A business professional leads

Which one is right for you?

This is the part where most copier shopping gets confusing. We try to keep it simple. Here is how we usually steer customers:

BP-71C31 (31 pages per minute)

Good fit for: small offices, satellite locations, work-from-home teams that share one machine, professional services firms with light to moderate print volume.

Pick this one if: you have fewer than 15 people regularly using the copier, you print a few hundred pages a day, and you want a full-featured machine without paying for speed you will not use.

BP-71C36 (36 pages per minute)

Good fit for: growing teams, mid-size offices, busy front desks, mixed-use spaces where one machine serves several departments.

Pick this one if: you have 15 to 30 regular users, you print steadily through the day, and you want a step up in speed without going to the top of the line.

BP-71C45 (45 pages per minute)

Good fit for: busy offices, marketing teams, real estate offices, medical practices, and anywhere a printer feels like the bottleneck.

Pick this one if: you have more than 30 regular users, big jobs are common, or someone in your office regularly stands at the machine waiting on a print.

If you are not sure which one fits, that is fine. Tell us how many people use your current copier and roughly how much you print in a month. We will tell you which model makes sense and quote both up and down so you can compare.

What is included, and what you can add

Every model in this family is a complete office copier on day one. Most customers add a couple of options to fit how they actually work. Here is the breakdown.

Comes standard on all three

  • 300-sheet two-sided document feeder
  • One 550-sheet paper drawer plus a 100-sheet bypass tray
  • 10.1-inch tilting touchscreen
  • Pull-out keyboard
  • 256 GB solid state drive
  • Ethernet and front USB port
  • PCL 6 and Adobe PostScript 3 printing
  • Built-in connections to Teams, Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive, SharePoint, Box, and Gmail
  • Walk-up motion sensor
  • Black and color toner and developer
  • AI-assisted scanning, BIOS integrity check, and intrusion detection

Common add-ons our customers pick

  • Wireless LAN adapter with Bluetooth (this one is optional on this series)
  • Extra paper drawers if you go through a lot of letter or legal
  • 3,000-sheet large capacity cassette for heavy print volume
  • Staple finisher for reports and proposals
  • Hole punch (3-hole)
  • Inner folding unit for c-fold, z-fold, half-fold, and accordion-fold mailers
  • Fax expansion kit if you still need a fax line
  • Bitdefender antivirus for an extra layer of security
  • Larger 512 GB solid state drive for heavy job storage

You do not need everything on this list. Most offices pick two or three. We will walk through which ones make sense for how you actually work.

Lease it, buy it, or let us help you decide

Most of our customers lease. A few buy. Both make sense in different situations.

Why leasing usually wins for small business

Predictable monthly cost. You know what the copier costs every month. No surprise bills.

Service is included. Toner, parts, and on-site service are wrapped into your agreement. When something breaks, you call us and we fix it. No separate invoice.

You stay current. Office tech changes fast. A lease lets you upgrade to a newer model when your term ends, instead of being stuck with an old machine for ten years.

It frees up cash. Buying a copier outright ties up money you could spend on payroll, inventory, or growth. A lease keeps that cash in your business.

It is tax-friendly for most businesses. Lease payments are usually a straight operating expense. Talk to your accountant for what fits your situation.

When buying makes sense

If your print volume is low, your budget allows for a one-time purchase, and you want to own the machine outright, buying can be the right move. We can quote both side by side so you can compare.

How working with Novatech goes

1. We talk for fifteen minutes. You tell us what you print, how much, and what bugs you about your current setup. No sales script.

2. We quote you straight. You get a clear price for lease or purchase. Service and supplies are spelled out. No fine print games.

3. We deliver and set it up. Our team brings the machine, sets it up on your network, and shows your staff how to use it. You are running the same day.

4. We stick around. Service calls, toner shipments, questions from your office manager. You call us, a real person answers. That is the whole pitch.

Two paths from here

Stay with what you have. Keep paying for service calls that take days. Keep losing time at the machine. Keep hoping nothing breaks before the next quarter.

Or let us send you a real quote. See the numbers. Compare them to what you spend now. Then decide.

Most of our customers tell us they wish they had switched sooner.
