How to Install a Canon Printer on Windows
Navigate to the Canon Driver Download Page
Search for your printer model in the search bar and select it from the list of results
Make sure the correct version of windows is selected then click download on the Generic_Plus_UFRII driver
In the top of the browser click the down arrow and select the download to open it. If you don’t see the arrow select the three dots or lines in the top right and then click downloads
Click the Compressed folder tab and then click extract all and then click next
Open the x64 folder and run the setup
Select your language and then click next. Click yes to agree, choose standard and then click next
Select your printer from the list and click next, you can change the name and set it as default if needed then click next
Reboot now to complete the install or if you aren’t ready you can reboot later, however won’t function properly until rebooted
